The Chaplaincy is a service of human and spiritual care and administration of the sacraments (especially penance, the Holy Eucharist, and the anointing of the sick) that the Monkole Mother and Child Hospital offers to the sick and their caregivers. This service is provided by Catholic priests of the Prelature of Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church. (www.opusdei.org).
If you belong to another religious denomination, the chaplains can facilitate contact for you so that you can receive spiritual attention.
Our chaplains are available to care for patients at any time and periodically visit the hospital floors to converse with patients and those who accompany them, if they wish.
The Chapel, located on the first floor of the Hospital, is open to all who wish to pay their respects during opening hours.
